There’s a post office called Lancaster. It’s a tiny office with a large TV and a small desk, and the name Lancaster is based on the newspaper line that was posted on the right side of the front door. This post office is in the basement of a former gas station, and I have been living there for over twenty years.
Lancaster Post Office is more than an office. It has a home, a yard, and a few other things. But what makes it special is that it is the oldest post office in Pennsylvania. This small and unassuming post office was built in the 1940’s and is one of the oldest post offices in the entire country. The building has since been converted into a small museum and includes many of the original machines that were in the office in the 1940’s.
So why are post offices so important? Because when a letter comes in, the post office will have the letter waiting for you. When a letter comes in, the post office has the letter waiting for you. So it’s important to note that this post office has a strong history with letters.

In the 1940s the Post Office was a very important place. Postal services were first introduced to the United States in the United States in the 18th century by the French post office. They were established as a way to send mail from France to the United States. These postal services were very popular with Americans, and the Postal Service was widely used by all members of the United States. It only stopped operating in the mid-1990s.
In the 1920s the Post Office was very important, so much so that the Post Office was given the title of the “first post office”. This was because Congress felt that the Post Office was the oldest post office in the world! The Post Office was founded in 1845 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was the first postal service in the United States. It was a very popular service, and it even had its own newspaper, the Philadelphia Post Office News.
I can’t imagine a more appropriate title than a post office. It was founded by Thomas J. Watson, who was the United States Postmaster General at the time of its founding. He wanted to make sure that the Postal Service was the oldest, as he thought that was the most important thing for a government to be. Congress did not agree with his opinion, and the mail was transferred to the United States Postal Service in 1848.
Now that we have the Postal Service to thank for their inception, the Post Office News is one of the oldest newspapers still in existence. Its founder, Thomas Watson, wrote the paper in 1839. Not only did he believe in the importance of the Postal Service, but he understood that the Postal Service had a role to play in society as well.
